No JH Volleyball or Football practice today(9/6)!
JV Football Schedule Update:
High School JV Football will play at Goessel Monday(9/9) with a 6pm kickoff!
We are in need of one line judge(4pm start) and one gate worker(530 start) for tonights JHVB/FB game in White City. Email khensley@usd481.com or contact either school if you are willing to help out! Line judge would be for 2-3 hours, gate worker would only be an hour.
Some of our Rural Vista families may qualify for Summer EBT (Electronic Benefit
Transfer) benefits this year based on your participation in the free and reduced-priced meals program during the 2023-24 school year. This program provides $120 in grocery assistance during the summer months when school meals are not available for income-eligible students to receive free and reduced-priced meals at school.
To receive these benefits, you must complete an application through the Department for Children and Families. Act soon, because the application deadline ends on September 11th!
You will be asked to provide your name, your child’s name, school, date of birth, and address. You will also be asked to report your household’s income. To apply, you do not need to provide any other documents or information, including your social security number or proof of citizenship. You will need to create an account with DCF before you can apply. Benefits will be distributed within 15 days of an application being submitted.

1 gate worker - Roughly an hours worth of work starting at 5:15
1 Football Clock Operator - Roughly an hour of work starting at 5:15
Sept 6th:
2 gate workers - 2 hours of work starting at 6:15
1 Clock Operator - 2 hours of work starting at 645
2-3 Chain gang members - 2 hours starting at 645.
We do pay $15 an hour!
We currently have these coaching positions open - JH Boys Assistant Basketball Coach and HS Boys Assistant Basketball Coach.

Fall sports practices begin today! Please ensure all athletes have their physical/concussion forms signed and turned in to the office. HSVB will be in Hope, JHVB/JHFB/HSFB in White City today and tomorrow.
All students interested in going out for Volleyball or Football will need to attend tomorrow's Coaches meeting after school. Volleyball will meet in Hope, Football will meet in White City. Busses will arrive back to town around 5ish. Please let your coach know if you can not attend. Head Coaches are : HSFB - Brian Henry, HSVB - Adam Sobba, JHVB - Anne Jirak , JHFB - Hunter Hein.
